I often receive emails and telephone calls asking for further information. I am always happy to answer these, so below are the answers to some common ones. To expand I have put the links to the appropriate pages on this website.
1. Experience? I have been is the business 40 years and do everything from 4th birthday parties through engagement parties and Weddings to ballroom a sequence dancing for older clients I also look after 2 other Djs who are 43 and 36 years old respectively. They are highly professional and approach any evening the same as myself; as professionally as possible.
The equipment we use depends on the venue. It is all reasonably new professional equipment, for sound equipment this is based around Citronic, Carlsbro, Berhenger, and Skytec Pro range (not the cheap bedroom dj products). Lighting uses various products from Acme, Skytec NJD etc + some custom built units. Systems
You may make a play list if you wish. We have in the past had various ones of these from 20 up to 180! requests. When it gets to this number you may as well make up a mp3 DVD and do it yourself. I ask on our confirmation for boxes to be ticked so we get an idea of your music tastes, and will always accept requests. We work off computers with all of us having access to around 60,000 tracks. We therefore hold a PRODUB licence to make us legal playing converted tracks from CD or ITunes. Assurances
How long is a piece of string? There are 4 of us in the team, so we move ourselves around to put the most appropriate dj for a function in that event. We are all capable of any event, but some of us are stronger in certain styles of music. Book as early as you can in other words, It is first come first served.
We cover all the North East. I live in Durham and as my other Djs live in Sunderland and Gateshead so cover a similar area.
This depends on the venue (Is it upstairs or along a long corridor) as well as the size of the disco requested and if the fee includes one Dj or for larger venues 2 Djs. The small disco we generally allow 30 mins, but a Wedding disco can be 90 mins or more for the biggest system. Disco Size
7. What size venues can you cater for? Anything from a house dining room to a Marquee built into a sports hall with 650 guests. Disco Size
9. what is included in your fee? This depends what you want. It is the dj and his expertise, the equipment, traveling time, the cost of Advertising, transport, insurance etc. Extras in the way of lighting upgrades, karaoke, balloon modelers, face painters etc. Once I know your times for the function which system you would like and any extras I can give you a final quotation. When we have all the details I send you a letter of Confirmation. This contains an envelope if you wish to pay a deposit by Cheque. If you wish to pay by Debit/ credit card or PayPal that can be done on our website (Booking and Payments) or you can telephone me and I will do it like a telephone sale that you may do from a catalogue. The letter also contains details for internet banking payment. Payment for the event can use the same methods for advance payment, but you may also pay on the day at the start of the function by cash. I will accept a series of payments if you wish to spread the cost.
We have availability of both of these effects, but vary rarely use them due to smoke detectors in a venue or the risk of clients being epileptic in the case of the strobe. We ask you to check the venue for the smoke machine and you know your guests better than me for the strobe.

13. How much?! Once again may I ask you to look at my website or give me a little more info as to what you would like i.e. small and intimate, or at the other end large and spectacular. The prices on the website would need to be increased to cover our traveling costs and time if you are outside the area the covered by Durham and Sunderland Yellow Pages. Pricing
